It’s the Little Things

Just bought a couple Ulubulu Baby Bibs and I have to say there are so far my favorite compared to the velcro and snap bibs.  Little nugget likes to pull on those and they easily come off.

With these new bibs, it’s a challenge for Liam.  Ha!! Keep trying buddy, it’s not gonna happen!  I bought the B.O.T and the Grill Shark.  Right now they are buy 1 get 1 free!!  So get them while they’re HOT!

Not only are they really fun and cool looking, they are also really easy to pack and dishwasher safe (100% silicone).  And what I love most about them is the pocket in front.  It captures Liam’s drool and mush.  Which means less clean up.  Yippie! 🙂

Liam’s 3 Top Picks: Jumperoo Rainforest, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?Bumbo Seat and Tray

Baby Got Skills: Liam can hold his head up, raise his chest when he is on his stomach (almost like he is doing a push-up), reach and grab LOTS of objects, lots of smiling and squealing, rolls over in seconds, turns his head when we call his name or if he hears any other voices, moves lots of his toys while on his play mat, and can bear weight on his chubby legs while standing straight up. He is soooo close to crawling.  As of now, he rocks back and forth trying to crawl.  Liam does manage to get around from his play mat to the carpet.

Enjoys: The sunshine during our walks, loves being around other people (he has a smile for everyone), and still enjoys his Jumperoo…ALOT!

Liam’s First Oatmeal Tasting

One out of the million questions that mom’s have.. “When should I introduce solid foods to my baby?”   They say between 4-6 months.  Once the baby starts taking interest in your food, then it’s time.  I swear I thought Liam spun his entire head around sniffing our dinners.  And now he’s attempting to snatch the food right off of our plates.  Sneaky baby!

So I researched the tools to make healthy delicious AFFORDABLE food.   I heard that other mom’s use just a food processor and ice trays to freeze servings of food.  Apparently, that works too.  I wanted the whole shebang!  Recipe book, containers, labels, food processor, travel bag, etc.  So I finally decided on Sage Spoonfuls.  So far, I’m loving it and I can’t wait to make more of the recipes soon.

I started out with organic oatmeal, which is super easy and fast to make with a food processor and some hot water.   We had no idea how Liam was going to react to the texture and the taste.  Good thing we decided to film some of it.  It’s hilarious!  I thought he was going to enjoy it, but apparently…. Well, see for yourself!
