Pumpkin Picking at Underwood Farms

This was our first time at Underwood Farms pumpkin patch.  It’s a drive, but being that it was a Monday we arrived fairly quickly.  Not only that, since we went on a weekday so we had no problem with large crowds and we only paid 3 bucks to get in!  Next year we HAVE to go on a weekend.  The weekend I hear is a lot more fun. Food stands are open, games are going on every corner, and it’s not so much of a ghost town like it was when we went.   We will just have to deal with lots of people and pay 15 bucks a head.  Ouch! what a difference in price.  I hear it’s worth it though.

Either way, this season was perfect to go on a weekday being that I was about 37 weeks pregnant at the time. Liam had a blast running around the pumpkins and corn field maze.  He also fed the animals and played around the wooden trains. And the huge tractors were a hit!  All of it was enough to get his energy out and enjoy a strawberry smoothie at the end.  I love seeing him smile!  He is the luckiest boy in the world!

Here are a few pics from our pumpkin patch visit…
